About the Book
Mission: To democratize hedge-fund level quantitative intelligence and data-driven investing for mainstream investors, making it simple and accessible so that everyone can benefit, not just Wall Street professionals.
The mainstream investment community uses little to none of the Nobel Prize-winning techniques that are a daily occurrence on Wall Street. These techniques help quantify and manage three essential areas every investor should care about: Performance Discovery, Risk Reduction, and Objective Diversification.
This short guide bridges that expertise gap in plain language, without requiring any background in advanced math or statistics.
About the Author
Ashish Gupta, PhD started his quantitative finance journey at D.E. Shaw, one of the premier quantitative hedge funds on Wall Street, soon after earning his PhD in Computer Science from Northwestern University. He also spent six years as a Senior ML Lead at Google for their multi-billion-dollar Conversion Optimization platform.
Having experienced both worlds firsthand, working with a quantitative group managing billions of dollars on Wall Street as well as investing his own capital across stocks, ETFs, real estate, options, and crypto assets, his goal is simple: to make this quantitative science practical and useful for every investor through EasyCompare and BetterThanSPY.
